"It's Time to Play"
Stringing the generations together!
The Wisconsin Intergenerational Orchestra brings together musicians of all ages and skill levels in a challenging, non-competitive environment. Players benefit from interactions with each other while progressing toward a common goal of artistic excellence. WIO performances are designed to share the joy of music making with performers and audience members alike.
PLEASE READ OUR COVID-19 PROTOCOL
To protect the health of all of our members, all musicians, staff, and guests of WIO will wear masks and maintain physical distancing. All individuals eligible for vaccination will show proof of vaccination status prior to engaging in WIO activities. We are aware that we may be able to make accommodations for members with respect to our vaccine requirement based on religious belief or medical need. To request a religious accommodation, we will need a written statement of your sincerely held beliefs that will not permit you to vaccinate. To request a medical accommodation, we will need a written explanation from your treating healthcare provider. We will treat this information as confidential, of course. We may need to ask for follow-up information, which frequently is the case when considering these issues. If an accommodation to our vaccine requirement is warranted, it is likely that the musician (and anyone attending rehearsal with the musician) still will be required to mask and distance, like all other members of WIO and any accompanying guests.
WIO members and anyone accompanying a WIO member who is ineligible for the vaccine must be masked at all times and must socially distance from anyone who is not a member of their immediate household. WIO members and anyone accompanying a WIO member to rehearsal will be masked at all times. WIO members and accompanying family members must not attend rehearsal if they have a fever over 99 degrees, have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, know that they have been exposed to anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 14 days, or feel that they are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 infection. The board will continually monitor the virus and reassess policies as conditions change. Thank you for your support and cooperation.
